Grant Kreft
Chief Executive Officer
Grant Kreft is Chief Executive Officer of the Institute for Financial Integrity. As CEO, Grant, in partnership with the Board of Directors, is responsible for overseeing all facets of the organization.
With over 20 years of experience leading global organizations, Grant brings a dynamic, effective and influential leadership style that emphasizes customer-focused innovation, business transformation and growth. A New Zealand native and product of Otago University, Grant has a strong track record of building and developing leading B2B enterprises from a global perspective.
Prior to IFI, Grant was Vice President at SS&C Technologies, a leading cloud-based provider of financial services technology solutions. Prior to SS&C, he served as Chief Revenue Officer at DialedIn. He began his career at Intuition, the world’s leading provider of financial services training, becoming Chief Executive of its North American division after five years in leadership roles.
Danny McGlynn
President and Chief Integrity Officer
Danny is President and Chief Integrity Officer of the Institute for Financial Integrity. As Chief Integrity Officer, Danny is responsible for driving the culture of IFI by ensuring integrity, transparency and accountability within the organization and fostering the community within its DOLFIN member network. With a focus on ethics and integrity beyond compliance, Danny shapes IFI’s offering by integrating an integrity lifecycle into its products and services and promoting inter-agency and cross-sector cooperation within the financial integrity community, supporting collective action to increase scale and impact.
Bringing to bear over two decades at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Danny works with the IFI team to provide operationally useful training and resources to financial integrity professionals within DOLFIN to help sharpen their skills and enhance their expertise to meet heightened regulatory expectations in the areas of anti-money laundering, sanctions compliance, and other financial integrity topics.
Prior to IFI, Danny was a senior managing director at K2 Integrity for nearly four years, responsible for leading the DOLFIN platform team. In addition to these responsibilities, Danny assisted with and supported all aspects of K2 Integrity’s work, including the design and development of new services, products, and technologies.
Prior to joining K2 Integrity, Danny served more than 20 years with the Treasury Department, where he held a variety of positions at the Office of Intelligence and Analysis (OIA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). Most recently, he served as the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary (PDAS) of OIA, and as the acting Assistant Secretary, responsible for leading the organization’s receipt, analysis, and dissemination of intelligence related to the Treasury’s mission to safeguard the international financial system from abuse and to combat threats to U.S national security. Danny also held positions as Treasury’s liaison to the U.S. Central Command, as a Compliance Specialist and Investigator for OFAC, and as a Presidential Management Fellow.
Danny received a J.D. from George Mason University School of Law, an M.A. from Florida International University in international studies, and a B.S. from Florida State University in international affairs. He was awarded the Stuart Levey Award in recognition of his dedicated service to and leadership of the Treasury Department’s Office of Terrorism and Financial Intelligence.
Danny is a Certified Risk Management Specialist in Global Sanctions and Russia Sanctions (CRMS-GS/RS).
Lauren Jack
Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer, Lauren is responsible for orchestrating the execution of key initiatives to shape IFI’s long-term impact across the financial integrity community.
Lauren’s expertise is deeply rooted in architecting and enabling strategies to optimize engagement, maximize client experiences, and ultimately fuel global business growth and financial outcomes. Passionate about problem solving and building meaningful products, she has a track record of consistently delivering operational excellence.
Prior to joining IFI, Lauren spent over a decade partnering with the world’s largest brands to drive learner engagement and behavioral change through education within the highly regulated industries of aviation, banking, finance, healthcare, insurance, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, oil & gas, and tobacco. Most recently, Lauren served as Senior Director at SS&C, a multibillion-dollar financial services technology provider, where she was responsible for the development and management of the SS&C Learning Institute.
Lauren graduated with honors from the NYU Stern School of Business, earning her Bachelor of Science in Marketing and International Business with a concentration in Communications and Technology.
Shannon Barnes
Chief Product Officer
As Chief Product Officer, Shannon leads technical innovation and the development and implementation of the technical product vision for IFI’s proprietary DOLFIN platform. Shannon’s mission as CPO – a unique role in a training organization — is to re-envision the learning experience by leveraging generative artificial intelligence, while transforming how the modern learning record system communicates with partner platforms and delivers outcomes for organizations and professionals alike.
Prior to joining IFI, Shannon was a Senior Product Manager at K2 Integrity where he advised K2 leadership on tech strategy for major projects. Before K2 Integrity, Shannon worked at Palantir Technologies, partnering with critical institutions in Australia and North America to tackle complex enterprise data challenges and develop world-class software. Shannon also served in the Australian federal government in various policy and intelligence roles advising on counterterrorism, counterinsurgency, great power rivalries, anti-money laundering (AML), and countering the financing of terrorism (CFT). At AUSTRAC (the Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre), Shannon was directly involved in the development of the 2012 Financial Action Task Force (FATF) methodology for assessing the effectiveness of AML/CFT systems.
Shannon holds an M.A., with honors, from the Strategic and Defense Studies Centre at the Australian National University. He received a B. Comm., with majors in economics and politics, and a B.A. in Asian studies, with majors in Asian history and Mandarin Chinese, from the University of Sydney. Shannon is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS).
